The only bad movie in Pixar’s strong list of credits is getting a sequel. Ugh.
Cars was nothing more than an animated remake of Doc Hollywood and Cars 2 looks like a bad mix of G-Force and Ocean’s 12. All I can gather from this teaser is that Lightning McQueen and Mater are now spies. That’s right. Talking spy cars. Again, ugh.
Pixar’s Cars 2 will not be racing into theaters, but quietly sneaking into them in summer 2011.
Watch the 35-second teaser below. Let’s hope that the actual sequel is short just like teaser – unlike the first movie that clocked at a LONG 117 minutes.
