The Utah Film Critics Association is pleased to announce our nominees for excellence in filmmaking for 2024.

The Brutalist took the lead with nine nominations including Best Picture, Best Achievement in Directing for Brady Corbet, Best Lead Performance Male for Adrian Brody, Best Supporting Performance Male for Guy Pearce, Best Supporting Performance Female for Felicity Jones, Best Cinematography for Lol Crawley, Best Original Score for Daniel Blumberg, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing.

Conclave and Dune: Part Two each received six nominations and will face off in Best Picture, Best Achievement in Directing, and Best Cinematography.

The Substance and Nosferatu tied for third place with five nominations apiece.

The Utah Film Critics Association will meet on January 11, 2025 to vote and decide the winners.
