With some of the sophistication swapped out for stylized action, 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit' successfully revives the five-film-deep franchise with great characters, well-earned thrills and an insane amount of tension.
Rated PG-13 for sequences of violence and intense action, and brief strong language.
