Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens on Friday, November 18, but we at The Reel Place are excited to offer you the chance to see it for free in IMAX on Tuesday, November 15 at 7PM in Sandy, Utah.
You’re probably familiar with the standard way that we give out advance screening passes, but pay close attention because this one is quite a bit different:
- As soon as humanly possible, send an email to luke@thereelplace.com with “Fantastic Beasts” in the subject line and your first and last names in the body of the email. Simple enough, right?
- After you’ve sent the email, share the URL for this post (https://www.thereelplace.com/news/fantastic-beasts-passes) with your friends and family on Facebook and/or Twitter. (Be sure to do this step after sending your email because the passes are first-come, first-serve. Once they’re gone, they’re truly gone.)
- Check your email over the next two days to see if you won. We will notify you either way, so please be patient with us because there are a lot of individual emails to go through and unique codes to track and distribute.
As always, having a pass does not guarantee admission into the screening. Be sure to arrive extra early (especially for this screening) to exchange your passes for assigned seating tickets.
Thanks for participating in the screening giveaway for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. We wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the screening.
Synopsis: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them takes us to a new era in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, decades before Harry Potter and half a world away. Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) stars in the central role of Magizoologist Newt Scamander, under the direction of David Yates, who helmed the last four Harry Potter blockbusters. There are growing dangers in the wizarding world of 1926 New York. Something mysterious is leaving a path of destruction in the streets, threatening to expose the wizarding community to the Second Salemers, a fanatical faction of No-Majs (American for Muggles) bent on eradicating them. And the powerful, dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, after wreaking havoc in Europe, has slipped away … and is now nowhere to be found.
