With awards season in full swing, there are a couple great moviegoing options this week.
After playing in select cities for three weeks, the new hyped drama from Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep is finally playing in Utah theaters. As you’d expect, The Post is not only an excellent film, but it’s very applicable with the political and social climates of today.
If you’re looking for something lighter, the superb sequel Paddington 2 is here. Just like the first, it’s filled with heart and laughs.
Lastly, 65-year-old Liam Neeson is still remaking the same action movie (Taken) over and over again. For this iteration – named The Commuter – he must put his special set of skills to use by identifying a passenger who does not belong (whatever that means) before it hits the end of the line.
You can hear my review of all three films from the 105.1 FM morning show, The Morning Fix, in the widget below (skip ahead to the 33:53 mark) or by clicking here.
