Some may argue that Bank Dance is not a short film but a music video – I don’t care about that. It tells more of a solid story than some actual short films, so I’m all about it.
Actress Zooey Deschanel introduces the video (which plays out to She & Him tune “Why Don’t You Let Me Stay Here?”) that can also be found in the special features of the (500) Days of Summer Blu-ray. (500) Days of Summer director Mark Webb also directed Bank Dance. Enjoy watching Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) do things you never knew they could do.
If you have not yet seen (500) Days of Summer, do yourself a favor and race out to rent it after watching Bank Dance. Scratch that – race out and BUY it. It is just that good.
