The one and a half minute trailer for the new movie Skyline, plays out like an alien epic that we should be frothing at the mouth to see. Sadly, CG sequences have become less than impressive over the years, since it’s all we see anymore at the movies. So when giant spaceships fly to Earth and start abducting hundreds of people it’s hard not to feel a little bored. Especially when most of the film looks almost like a rehash of Independence Day. Let’s just hope they aren’t able to take down the alien force with a computer virus.
On the plus side they do mention Stephen Hawking’s name more than once. I’m hoping he plays the fearless hero. Now that would be a film!
